A survey has revealed that Brits are expecting the UK housing market to stabilise or improve over the next 12 months.
British home insurancecustomers are confident the health of the UK housing market will stabilise or improve in the coming 12 months.A survey of 20,000 potential homebuyers carried out by Rightmove.co.uk revealed that 75 per cent expect the UK market to sustain its current level or show an increase between now and next summer.
Despite sellers dropping prices last month, many felt that property prices would start to rise once again in the near future.Miles Shipside, commercial director for the property portal, noted that the positivity of prospective buyers was good news for those looking to sell their homes.
Assetz recently reported that the UK property market is "firming up" despite economic uncertainty, with its chief executive, Stuart Law, saying an upturn was imminent."We are seeing quite a lot of evidence of the market firming up. It doesn't look like house prices are falling back," he commented.
